New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance Welcomes New Board Members

The New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance, Board of Directors appointed Officers and new Directors. Dava Gerard, M.D., The Cancer Center at Presbyterian, and Cheryl L. Willman, M.D., UNM Cancer Center will serve as Co-Chairs, Malcolm Purdy, M.D., Hematology Oncology Associates, a new board member as the Medical Director, Victor Vigil, M.D., Hematology Oncology Associates, as the Vice Chair, and David Vigil, NM Department of Health will serve as the Secretary/Treasurer. Karen Finkelstein, MD, Southwest Gynecologic Oncology Associates, a new board member, Vincent Ortolano, M.D., Marjorie Goldstein, UNM Medical Group, Sheri Milone, Lovelace Women’s Hospital, Thomas Byrd, M.D., the NM Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, and Geraldine Esquivel, American Cancer Society were appointed to the board for a two year term.
NMCCA looks forward to working with these new board members and to the expertise that they bring to the organization.
New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, offers New Mexico cancer patients and physicians access to the most up-top-date clinical research studies in cancer treatment.
