New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance Elects Board of Directors 2006-2007

At their recent annual meeting, the Board of Directors of New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance voted to approve the following people to continue as Board members:
Paul Anthony, M.D., Radiation Oncology Associates
Vincent Ortolano, M.D., Albuquerque Urology Associates
Victor V. Vigil, M.D., Hematology-Oncology Associates, P.C.
Additionally, the Board voted to confirm the following officer positions:
Co-Chair: Cheryl L. Willman, M.D., Director, UNM Cancer Research & Treatment Center
Co-Chair: Lauren Cates, Vice President, Presbyterian Hospital
Vice-Chair: Victor V. Vigil, M.D., Hematology-Oncology Associates, P.C.
Treasurer/Secretary: Sheri Milone, CEO, Lovelace Women’s Hospital
Medical Director: Claire Verschraegen, M.D.,
NMCCA welcomes the new Board members, thanks the continuing members for their work and looks forward to utilizing all of their expertise during their terms.
New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is dedicated to providing New Mexico cancer patients, their families and loved ones with local access to the latest cancer treatments and information available through cancer research studies. Our alliance of healthcare systems and community oncology professionals allows cancer patients to receive quality healthcare locally while increasing the knowledge of cancer care globally.
